Commonly known as "Junk Percussion",This is an alternative Rhythm Creation workshop that is fully interactive using sticks. Using the inspiration of African, Asian,Brazillian ,Rock, Reggae and Drum and Bass, participants will learn these inspirations and play them on recycled implements form around the home & garden,
as well as repurposed items that have been purchased and turned into percussion instruments.
From creating simple rhythms to more involved grooves, participants will be encouraged to have ago at creating their own beats and trying them out on the ensemble.
This workshop can cator for groups of up
to 50 participants
Ideal for schools university's, community and small corporate team building events.
Events and workshops can be tailored to your requirement's.
All recycled repurposed instruments can be provided or participants can bring their own to play.
**this workshop can be rather loud, so for those with sensitive hearing, bringing their own ear defenders is highlly recommended.**
